Whenever possible, seeds are produced from genetically different individuals to maintain diversity among our stock. This benefits all, guaranteeing unique seedlings. When an outstanding individual is selected, clones may be available. In some cases, offsets (clones) or self-pollinated seedlings are all that are available.
