Crinum erubescens var. octiflora

From seed stock originally from southern Bahia, Brazil.  A larger, more robust American Crinum.

A most desirable South African crinum with lovely pinkish trumpet flowers.  Easy to grow in large pots or in the landscape. Dormant in the winter months.

 Allied to C. americanum, this mini species  likes to be grown semi-aquatic.   The plants are easily grown in a one gallon container.  A must for crinum aficionados. 

The white grows well in the landscape to zone 7.  This stock came from a farm in Brazil and is old, old stock, different from those commonly cultivated in the US.  Offsets are all that is available as seed is rarely produced.

Crinum  oliganthum

These are basically miniature Crinum americanum. They enjoy plenty of water and will offset well and make cover as the years go by...

These are from old north Florida stock and the exact identity remains uncertain.  The burgundy colored stripes contrasting the white trumpets (hence, the name "milk & wine") is the attraction to these flowers which appear in the summer. 

Crinum x worsleyi  - hybrid

This is one of the more desirable big pink hybrids.

Crinum  'Chamomile'

Crinum "Chamomile" is one of the variegated crinums, but this one is speckled, as if someone splashed white paint on the leaves. A very difficult plant to locate.  Reproduces by offsets.
