Griffinia aracensis Carícia

These elegant blue lilies are charmers indeed, as their Brazilian name states. The leaves are not spotted in this form, but they are undulate. The lilac flowers are borne on stalk about 10" tall with about 6-8 per stalk, often producing 4 stalks/bulb. Blooms summer through autumn.

Griffinia espiritensis var. espiritensis

This form originates from Espirito Santo, Brazil. It is the largest form of Griffinia espiritensis and is easily grown. The leaves and the scape may exceed 30 cm when mature. On occasion, the leaves exhibit remote spotting pattern. Flowers early spring.

Griffinia liboniana spotted-leaf Griffinia

Although spotted leaves occur in other species, the trait is most commonly expressed in G. liboniana. This species is a summer bloomer with 7-10 flowers per spike.
