One of the most commonly cultivated South American species of the genus, H. robustus flowers reliably each spring. They are excellent border plants, or they can spruce up just about any sunny garden after a spell of rain. They also do well as containerized plants.

One of the native Texan Habranthus. Both the copper (ex Texas) and rose (ex Argentina) colored forms are available.

Habranthus sp. Rain lily

This species is undetermined (and probably undescribed), and Brazilian in origin. The bulbs quickly form clusters and fill up the a container. Spring and summer blooms of these purely white flowers will add elegance to your garden after a rain shower. Does better in the garden than in containers.

Habranthus x Floryii  Hybrid Rain Lilies

(H. brachyandrus x H. robustus)

These Florida hybrids are selections from crosses made sometime during the early 1970's and again in the 1990's. Flowers white, blushed with pink appear mid-summer with the rains.  Some other, new selections are also available upon request.
